Fastrack, the popular youth brand which has just launched ‘Fastrack Reflex’ in India on Monday, 13th of March 2017.It is available at just Rs. 1,995/- only, in every Fastrack store online and offline. It is the brand’s first product into smart wearables segment.Fastrack Reflex tracks activity and sleep data. Fastrack makes watches for youngsters and the Reflex is no different than it.
The device is available in the stylish form and has dual-color bands. i.e. outside of the band with one color and the inner part with a different color. The colors available are chic purple, distinctive black, dazzling blue, Red, Orange etc. So there is a variety for selection. The band is made out of a special rubber-like material which gives a feel of comfortable and secure.
The specification comes with a decent sized display screen which shows notification, incoming call and texts. On the other hand, it with comes with a sedentary reminder, which will notify you if you’re stationary for long intervals. Also, the band also helps to track sleep patterns. Fastrack says that it allow its smart-wearer to keep track of their activity for the day such as calories consumed etc and stores up the data for 15 days of exercise in the memory.
But one disadvantage this device has that there is no continuous display. A tap is required every time to wake it.
The Reflex band is easily compatible with iOS and Android devices. The device does not support any third party apps. Maybe, Fastrack would bring the integration in its future products. And if it does it would make the device more attractive & tempting to the “youths”.
This wearable Reflex band is unique. Because it does not require an external charger the product itself acts as a USB and charges within 60 minutes. The battery life is about of 14 days as per the company and it has been specially designed for youths to meet their requirement.
Now that Fastrack is getting into the wearable segment and has introduced Reflex at such price range, it will be directly competing with Xiaomi’s Mi Band 2 which is one of the most popular activity trackers in the today’s market.
