Even if you’re not using any app, it can run in the background and eat battery power from your smartphone. Android devices are meant for multitasking. Unknowingly your device keeps processing and runs some apps on your phone. Which in effect you phone uses some extra battery for those unessential process. Close them quickly , go to -> Setting -> Applications -> select either “Manage Applications” or “Running” option.

The Battery capacity in NiCd batteries is reduced every time you recharge them. Nonetheless, NiCd batteries have longer life cycles i.e. they can be recharged more often than NiMH batteries before stop working. Nickel-based batteries should be charged (to the full amount) when they’re more or less out of power, and not when there’s still a good amount of energy left.
11. Check The Signal Strength While Calling
Bad signal strength prompts your mobile to use extra power to search for signals. So, it’s better to make calls only when your phone will have enough signal strength. And it is good to keep the phone into airplane mode when you do not need to make calls.
